  • Collaborate with security teams and provide incident support when required.
  • Work directly with customers consuming voice services, including addressing service and billing-related concerns using strong customer service and business judgment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers, architects, engineering and operations teams, and service management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present deployment issues, technical recommendations, risks, and potential environmental challenges to senior management.
  • Recommend enhancements to voice products and infrastructure, such as increased bandwidth, voicemail capabilities, or other functionality improvements.
  • Stay current with telecommunications services, emerging technologies, organizational objectives, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improved performance and value.
  • Prepare milestone status reports, system concept presentations, and technical recommendations for colleagues, staff, customers, and end users.
  • Train engineers and customers on voice system operation and administration, including developing training materials for specialized equipment.
  • Support either the design and creation of new voice systems or the ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing networking environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent relevant education.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in a technical systems, telecommunications, networking, or related environment.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required and must be maintained.
  • Eligibility for a Top Secret clearance.
  • Strong experience with voice communications systems, telecommunications technologies, VoIP, networking, or related infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical personnel, provide daily direction, review technical work, and maintain delivery standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose system issues and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Ability to work across engineering, operations, architecture, service management, security, project management, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications operations, system administration, deployment, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to identify security risks, operational issues, technical constraints, and potential threats affecting communications systems.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering, architecture, operations, security, and program teams.
