This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer, AI Platform based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to build the internal AI platform that enables business teams to use intelligent agents safely and effectively.
You will design product experiences that allow teams to configure agents, review their actions, and understand how and why decisions were made.
Working across the full stack, you will build scalable interfaces, services, integrations, and data models that support business-critical workflows.
You will tackle the unique challenges of non-deterministic systems, including uncertainty, partial failure, evaluation, and human oversight.
The role combines strong engineering with product judgment, requiring you to turn ambiguous operational problems into practical software solutions.
You will work directly with internal business teams and own your work from design and implementation through launch, monitoring, and iteration.

• Design and build interfaces that enable business teams to configure AI agents, review their work, approve or correct actions, and understand outcomes.
• Develop observability and evaluation tooling that makes agent behavior transparent, including identifying successes, failures, and the impact of system changes.
• Own features end to end across the stack, from React and TypeScript through backend services and data models, including development, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Partner directly with business teams to understand complex operational needs and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Build and improve shared APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities that support safe and auditable AI-enabled workflows.
• Take ownership of the full software lifecycle, including monitoring, troubleshooting, post-launch improvements, and ongoing product iteration.
• Contribute to an internal platform designed to make AI-driven business automation reliable, understandable, and practical at scale.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend development skills with React and TypeScript, including experience working with complex application state and data-dense interfaces.
• Solid backend engineering capabilities and the ability to work effectively across the full stack.
• Experience with or willingness to learn backend languages such as Go, PHP, or Python.
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar technologies.
• Strong product judgment, with the ability to assess workflows, determine what should be built, and identify what can be simplified or removed.
• Interest in building and operating non-deterministic systems where uncertainty, partial failures, evaluation, and human correction are important considerations.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, independently close knowledge gaps, and take ownership of delivering solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a practical approach to building reliable software.

Benefits:

• Total cash compensation of $154,700–$200,200 for candidates based in Ontario or British Columbia, including base salary and variable pay where applicable.
