Accountant 1 Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the Accountant 1 is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of various Accounting and Treasury Management functions and activities. The Accountant 1 is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the daily, monthly and quarterly reporting and recording of banking, general ledger and accounts payable activity.

Accountant 1 Position Requirements

Education

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Experience

• Five to seven years of experience required, with at least two years of healthcare experience preferred.

• Strong computer skills necessary.

Accountant 1 Work Schedule

• Work Schedule Primarily day shift, Monday – Friday.

• Expected to work sufficient time and hours to manage the workforce and complete duties including planning for future goals.

• Hours will exceed normal staff hours.
