Job Description
Overview:
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and onboard top talent for instructional and non-instructional roles across the school. This includes sourcing candidates, managing job postings, conducting screenings and interviews, coordinating hiring manager feedback, and facilitating onboarding. The Recruiter will also represent the school at local job fairs, college campuses, and community hiring events to promote employment opportunities and support the school's recruitment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding for a variety of roles
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach
- Maintain and update postings across various platforms (e.g., Paychex, Zip recruiter, LinkedIn, PAreap, school website)
- Screen applications, schedule interviews, and facilitate candidate communication
- Coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers and provide candidate status updates
- Represent the school at career fairs, university events, and community job fairs to promote open roles and build talent pipelines
- Build relationships with local universities, training programs, and community partners to support long-term recruitment efforts
- Assist in preparing offer letters, collecting onboarding documents, and coordinating new hire orientation
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, applicant sources, and hiring trends
- Collaborate with the HR team on retention and diversity hiring initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field preferred
-3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment (school or nonprofit setting preferred)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Paychex, PAreap, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with public speaking and event representation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to events
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
