JOB DESCRIPTION:
The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to state-funded studies focused on trauma and disruptive behavior in youth. The postdoctoral fellow will help with participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis, and writing papers, under the supervision of faculty mentor(s). The postdoctoral fellow will also contribute to research grant development. This is a training position and is not expected to be a permanent position.

Completion of a PhD program in psychology or a related social and behavioral science field
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to research projects via study design, participant recruitment, data collection and analysis, manuscript preparation, and presentation of data at meetings.
- Respond effectively to direction and feedback provided by supervisors.
- Participate in research project team activities such as lab meetings, sponsor communications, and report generation.
- Take initiative to share ideas and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Effectively communicate relevant research project information to mentor.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Writing skills for research protocols and reports, journal manuscripts, and funding applications.
- Mentoring and teaching skills for interaction with research associates, medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Experience with applied social/behavioral and human subjects research.
- Experience with advanced statistical approaches such as multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling, and longitudinal data analysis.
