Warehouse Lead in Dayton, New Jersey at Hermann Forwarding

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility at our Bordentown, NJ location. Your main objective will be to ensure that all products are received, stored, and shipped out efficiently and accurately. You will be expected to lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse leadership role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Knowledge of inventory management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or work equivalent experience
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
• Experience with WMS or ERP systems
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
