Job Description
Launch Drivers
operate one of two USCG certified harbor launches tending to member boats in
mooring field. Requires a current USCG Captains license (Masters or Limited
Masters, aka Launch Operator), professionalism using marine VHF, great people
skills and positive attitude. Should enjoy working on the water and be willing
to deliver top notch service in all weather. Launch driver is responsible for
raising and lowering flags daily in observance of colors. Launch drivers also
assist member vessels at club dock, manage transient mooring arrivals/departures,
and occasionally assist with hauling and launching of club owned vessels as
needed for race events. Experience trailering boats is a plus. Nights,
weekends, and holiday availability ranks highly. Hourly rate based on
experience. All operators will be enrolled in maritime random drug-test program
in compliance with USCG regulations throughout season and are required to pass
background check prior to employment.
