Phlebotomist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals. If you are committed to providing excellent patient care and have a strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply. All applicants must have active nursing assistant license.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques and safety protocols

- Label and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards

- Verify patient identities and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation

- Manage and document patient information and specimen details accurately

- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent contamination and ensure safety

- Assist with inventory management of supplies and equipment

-Assist with escorting patients to hospital appointments

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a phlebotomy technician preferred

- Proven experience in blood collection and specimen handling

- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Familiarity with safety and infection control standards

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks

Requirements:

-Must have active WA State Nursing Assistant License
