Position Summary

As a Cashier/Runner/Busser, you are responsible for supporting both the guest experience and overall flow of the restaurant.

This includes greeting guests, taking orders at the counter, delivering food to tables, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Success in this role requires strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay composed during busy service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide a welcoming first impression

Take orders accurately and efficiently at the counter

Guide guests through the menu and make recommendations

Run food to tables quickly and accurately

Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing and resetting tables

Assist with stocking, organization, and general front-of-house upkeep

Support team members to ensure smooth service during high-volume periods

Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a restaurant environment and includes:

Exposure to high temperatures and cold conditions in walk-ins

Frequent contact with water, cleaning solutions, and common allergens (nuts, citrus, gluten, dairy)

Extended standing and walking

Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motion

Use of POS systems and equipment requiring manual dexterity

Ability to communicate clearly and maintain awareness of surroundings for safety
