HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Location: Fairfield County, CT & parts of Westchester County, NY

$35 - $50 per hour

We proudly serve Fairfield County and parts of Westchester County, offering expert service for Air Conditioning, Oil, Propane, Natural Gas, — and now, our new HVAC division!

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing oil, propane, and natural gas heating systems, as well as ventilation and air conditioning systems. You should be capable of diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems efficiently and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

    In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices2+ years of experience servicing and repairing Air Conditioning, oil, propane, and Natural gasHigh school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school certification preferredValid driver’s license and applicable trade certificationsAbility to write routine service reports and correspondenceStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with industry tools (electrical meter, efficiency tester, refrigeration gauges, recovery machine, manometer, etc.)Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Duties & Responsibilities

    Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systemsPerform seasonal system maintenance and troubleshootingConduct general repairs on steam and hot water heating systemsDiagnose and repair airflow and ducting issuesInstall HVAC equipment as neededEstablish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing honest, effective solutionsComplete job reports and service tickets promptly and accuratelyAttend service meetings, training seminars, and company eventsMaintain a clean and organized job site and service vehicleParticipate in an on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidaysWork overtime as needed
