Join our Air Warfare Simulation (AWS) team and help shape the future of pilot training and fighter cockpit tactics software! We're seeking talented engineers to join our dynamic, project-oriented environment where collaboration across disciplines drives breakthrough solutions.

At FAAC, you'll work alongside experts in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering, plus specialists in computer science, mathematics, and physics. Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex system characteristics to design and implement real-time computer models of aircraft systems and airborne devices

• Develop robust system architecture and software to support embedded simulations

• Conduct thorough verification and validation of simulation systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with precision and efficiency

• Update technical documentation

• Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines on cutting-edge defense projects

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship permitted)

• Must be able to qualify for a Department of Defense Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field such as, but not limited to aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, math, or physics

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience

• Proficiency in high order programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Programming languages: C, C++, Ada, Fortran

• Scripting languages: Python, Perl

• Knowledge of vector mathematics and coordinate transformations

• Understanding of calculus-based physics principles

• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong independent work ethic with collaborative team mindset

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work

• Regular, predictable attendance is required

• Moderate Noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers, light traffic)

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk/ office setting
