Culinary Arts Teacher Needed for a small regional day program in Williamstown, Gloucester County NJ.

The Culinary Arts Teacher will teach the following subject areas: General Cooking and related culinary arts, chef training, culinary science, food preparation, baking and pastry arts, food service, & food services management.

Hours: M-F, approximately 8:00am - 2:30pm. 1/2 lunch.

Monday to Friday. Expected hours: 30 per week

Pay rate: $44-$46 per hour depending on experience, NJ certification

Job Description:

We are looking for a part-time Culinary Arts teacher/sub teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate might have a NJ CTE certification with cooking experience in a restaurant setting or related experience, must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and possess strong attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

• Possess a NJ CTE in Culinary Arts
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check (criminal review history & child abuse investigation)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with our staff and students in a professional manner
• Ability to work without direct supervision
