As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
Clinical Responsibilities- Prepare exam and procedure rooms for patient visits and treatments
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care and clinical procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Process specimens for in-house and reference laboratories
- Obtain and document patient information accurately
- Ensure equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Maintain clinical inventory and supply levels
- Follow established clinical protocols and safety standards
- Support patients throughout their fertility treatment journey
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support before, during, and after procedures
- Educate patients on upcoming appointments, testing, and procedures
- Help create a welcoming and positive patient experience
- Serve as a trusted resource for patients during an important chapter of their lives
We're especially interested in candidates who are passionate about women's health, fertility care, and delivering outstanding patient experiences.
Required Qualifications- 6+ months of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- Excellent interpersonal and patient-service skills
- Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Program
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience, or willingness to learn
- Experience in fertility, reproductive medicine, OB/GYN, women's health, or a related specialty
- Experience assisting with clinical procedures
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Bilingual skills are a plus
