Requirements:Responsibilities:
· Perform assigned maintenance, repair, inspection, and modification tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance data, manuals, procedures, and customer requirements.
· Ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and in the proper sequence, following established procedures and quality standards.
· Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and test equipment required to perform assigned tasks.
· Verify that applicable tools and test equipment are properly identified, calibrated, and suitable for use before performing work.
· Identify and request required parts, materials, supplies, and equipment needed to complete assigned work.
· Accurately complete all required maintenance records, inspection documentation, work orders, and other applicable paperwork.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and properly handle aircraft parts, materials, and equipment.
· Communicate any discrepancies, damage, or issues identified during the work to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
· Follow all company, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements applicable to the position.
· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Previous experience in aircraft structures, sheet metal, composite, or aviation maintenance is preferred.
· Knowledge of aircraft structural repair, fabrication, modification, and installation practices.
· Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, work instructions, and applicable maintenance data.
· Ability to safely and effectively use common hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
· Basic knowledge of aircraft materials, fasteners, hardware, and structural components.
· Ability to perform work accurately while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
· Ability to follow written procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
· Ability to identify and report discrepancies, damage, or other issues encountered during work.
· Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks within established timelines.
· Willingness to learn new procedures, techniques, and aircraft-related skills.
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
· Work is primarily performed in an aircraft maintenance and repair shop environment.
· May involve working around aircraft components, tools, machinery, chemicals, and other shop equipment.
· Position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and working in various positions for extended periods.
· May occasionally require working in confined or elevated areas and handling materials or components of varying sizes and weights.
· Employees are expected to follow all company safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area.
· The position may involve exposure to moderate noise, dust, fumes, and other conditions commonly associated with aircraft maintenance and repair operations.
