Job Description

North Coast Media is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to manage the daily digital presence of one of our B2B media brands. This hands-on role combines writing, publishing, social media, email marketing, video production, and live event coverage.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor who is comfortable working across digital platforms, creating engaging content, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

    Write, edit, and publish at least three news posts daily across website and social media channels.Upload, format, and schedule approximately 25 feature articles and digital files each month from the print issue.Manage and engage with social media audiences across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms.Build, test, and deploy a weekly newsletter, including link testing and subject line optimization.Edit video content, including interviews, product footage, and promotional clips.Provide live social media, photo, and video coverage at approximately four industry trade shows per year.Monitor digital and social analytics to identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and audience development teams to expand content across digital channels.

Qualifications and Experience

    Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, digital media, or related field.2+ years of experience in digital publishing, journalism, content creation, or social media preferred.Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.Experience with website CMS platforms and social media management.Familiarity with WordPress, Buffer, Omeda, and Final Cut Pro preferred.Experience with video editing and Adobe Creative Cloud.Basic knowledge of SEO, analytics, and email marketing.Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and travel domestically approximately four times per year for multi-day events.
