Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Plumbing Advisor to join our team. This is a key revenue-driving position for a plumbing professional who can identify customer needs, recommend the right solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Compensation: $100,000+ annually for high-performing Plumbing Advisors. There is no artificial ceiling on earning potential.
The ideal candidate is a plumbing expert, trusted advisor, skilled negotiator, and proven closer with strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing. This individual can clearly explain plumbing needs, build customer trust, and confidently guide homeowners and business decision-makers toward the right solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home plumbing consultations and assess customer needs.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals.
- Build trust and strong relationships with customers.
- Handle objections, negotiate, and close sales.
- Follow up on estimates and sales opportunities.
- Identify additional plumbing opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Work closely with technicians, installers, dispatch, and office staff.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
- Meet sales, revenue, closing, and customer-service goals.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Extensive residential plumbing knowledge and experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing preferred.
- Experience with water heaters, water lines, sewer repairs, repipes, tunnels, water treatment, and major plumbing projects preferred.
- Proven sales and closing experience, including high-ticket plumbing solutions.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to explain complex plumbing problems in simple terms.
- Goal-oriented, organized, professional, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Texas plumbing license required for applicable plumbing work.
