Position Summary:
PositionDescription
The UNM ValenciaUpward Bound Program provides academic based after school and summer programsfor qualified students who attend high school in Valencia County at Los LunasHigh School, Valencia High School, or Belen High School. This federally fundedprogram that provides tutoring for first generation (college) and incomeeligible students who intend to graduate from college with a Bachelor'sDegree.
Performs a variety of office support and clerical duties for the Upward BoundProgram. Performs a wide variety of assignments, some of which are confidentialin nature. Accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; maintainscommunication log. Operates personal computer to enter data, draft, edit,revise and print letters, reports, lists, and other materials. Establishesmaintains, processes and updates files, records and other documents. Runsvarious routine errands as needed by the Program. Thisis a grant funded position that ends 08/31/2027 and will be renewed annuallybased on availability of federal funding.
