Sales Development Manager

OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Sales Development Manager, you will provide leadership to a team that supports our Government, Higher Education and Healthcare Industry Specialist sales departments. This team's focus is the development of assets and resources for sellers in an Account Management role. You will serve as a strategist & liaison for collaborations between stakeholders and see projects through execution. You will support the team by providing support to ad hoc needs of sellers, the facilitation of sales coaching activities and the communication of sales tips, techniques and processes. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Developing content strategy with stakeholders and executing with team members
o Envisioning future iterations of current assets and resources
o Utilizing KIPIs to enhance team performance
o Facilitating and communicating sales coaching activities
o Developing a team by recruiting, hiring, training and developing employees including monitoring employee engagement and satisfaction
o Creating an environment of continuous improvement
o Identifying and onboarding resellers in each state
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Possess at least 2 years of Fastenal experience OR have at least 2 years of combined experience in industry sales, administration, education, marketing, or customer service
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others
o Possess a creative mindset committed to customer service and providing solutions
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Lead and motivate a team of employees
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
o Pass a background check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Previous experience creating and editing of sales enablement material (reference guides, tutorials, documentation, presentations, etc.)
o Previous experience creating and editing multimedia content
