Job Description

U.S. Recruiter

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a U.S. Recruiter based in the United States.

This fully remote, full-time contract role is an opportunity to own end-to-end recruitment for a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will focus heavily on proactive sourcing, talent pipeline development, candidate engagement, and efficient hiring execution. The role is particularly suited to a recruiter who enjoys finding specialized talent for challenging and high-priority positions rather than relying on inbound applications. You will partner closely with hiring managers to define profiles, assess candidates, and move qualified talent through the hiring process. You will also leverage modern recruiting technologies and AI-powered tools to improve sourcing, research, outreach, and workflow efficiency. This is a hands-on six-month engagement requiring strong ownership, persistence, and the ability to work across multiple priorities.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for U.S.-based roles, from initial sourcing and candidate engagement through offer acceptance.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and develop talent pipelines for high-priority Go-To-Market (GTM) and delivery positions requiring specialized skill sets.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Upwork, Indeed, employee referrals, and alternative recruitment channels.
  • Develop creative and targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and specialized positions.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to calibrate candidate profiles, clarify requirements, and align on recruitment priorities.
  • Conduct recruiter screening conversations to assess candidates’ experience, skills, qualifications, and organizational fit.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information, recruitment activity, and pipeline progress within the Greenhouse ATS.
  • Monitor candidate pipelines and hiring metrics while ensuring strong follow-through across open roles.
  • Provide candidates with a professional, responsive, and seamless experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Leverage AI-powered recruiting tools for candidate sourcing, talent identification, research, outreach, and workflow optimization.
  • Manage multiple open positions and competing recruitment priorities while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of recruiting priorities and identify new sourcing approaches without relying on extensive supervision.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting for U.S.-based positions.
  • Strong hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle, with particular strength in sourcing and talent pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and attract high-caliber candidates for specialized and high-priority roles.
  • Experience recruiting within fast-paced startup or high-growth environments where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Hands-on experience using Greenhouse, Upwork, Indeed, and LinkedIn for recruitment and sourcing.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for candidate sourcing, talent identification, research, outreach, or recruitment workflow efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing strategy, candidate identification, outreach, screening, engagement, and pipeline conversion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through on recruitment activities and metrics.
  • A proactive, persistent approach to talent acquisition, with a willingness to experiment with creative sourcing channels.
  • Ability to quickly understand new candidate profiles and identify relevant talent pools.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recruitment priorities with minimal supervision.
  • U.S.-based and able to work effectively during U.S. business hours or overlapping U.S. time zones.
  • Ability to commit full-time to the entire six-month contract.
  • Availability to start immediately or at very short notice is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Full-time 6-month contract.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Opportunity to own the complete recruitment lifecycle across multiple U.S.-based roles.
  • Hands-on exposure to high-priority GTM and delivery recruitment.
  • Opportunity to use AI-powered recruiting technologies and modern sourcing strategies.
  • Fast-paced startup and high-growth working environment.
  • Direct collaboration with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Opportunity to develop creative approaches to sourcing specialized talent.
  • Focused six-month engagement with significant ownership over recruitment priorities.
