Senior Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition based in United States.

This is a senior enterprise leadership role responsible for shaping and executing a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with long-term business growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business and HR leaders, bringing insight into workforce trends, labor markets, and talent risks. The role combines strategic leadership with ownership of recruiting operations, technology, vendors, budgets, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. You will lead a global Talent Acquisition organization while building scalable capabilities that support organic growth, market expansion, transformation, and acquisitions. The position also oversees executive talent pipelines and strategic partnerships, including Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) programs. Success requires a strong customer focus, financial discipline, operational rigor, and a data-driven approach to continuously improving the talent acquisition ecosystem.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a global Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with business priorities and supports growth, market expansion, transformation initiatives, and acquisition integration through scalable recruiting capabilities and operating models.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership on talent acquisition, workforce trends, labor market dynamics, talent risks, and evolving workforce requirements, while building strong partnerships with business leaders.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence across Talent Management, Total Rewards, People Insights, HR Shared Services, Learning, Communications, and Operations to deliver an integrated talent strategy and optimize service delivery.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global Talent Acquisition organization by establishing clear expectations, accountability, development plans, and a culture centered on innovation, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer focus.
  • Build and maintain strong external talent pipelines for enterprise leadership positions and provide strategic leadership for executive recruiting, partnering with senior executives to identify and attract high-performing leadership talent.
  • Own the global Talent Acquisition P&L and budget, including forecasting, vendor management, contracts, and invoicing, while improving cost-per-hire efficiency and measuring return on talent investment.
  • Lead the global Recruitment Process Outsourcing strategy, operating model, and governance framework, balancing internal recruiting resources, RPO capabilities, and specialized search firms to maximize scalability and effectiveness.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, renewals, and strategic partnerships in collaboration with Procurement, Legal, and HR stakeholders.
  • Drive the recruiting technology roadmap by leveraging automation, digital tools, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve workflows, productivity, operational effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Establish enterprise Talent Acquisition capabilities and operating practices that enable continuous improvement, stronger use of shared services, and greater leverage from global process ownership and enabling technologies.
Requirements:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree, with an MBA and specializations in HR and Finance preferred, and bring 15+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate experience leading complex global recruiting organizations within multi-business, matrixed, or similarly sophisticated operating environments.
  • Have a proven ability to influence senior executives and business leaders while serving as a strategic partner on workforce and talent priorities.
  • Bring deep expertise across executive recruiting, workforce planning, talent intelligence, recruiting operations, and Talent Acquisition technology.
  • Demonstrate successful leadership of large-scale recruiting transformation initiatives, including strategic RPO partnerships and variable Talent Acquisition workforce models.
  • Have experience establishing Talent Acquisition global process ownership and partnering with shared services organizations to improve operational leverage and service delivery.
  • Bring strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, forecasts, and cost optimization, combined with high technology fluency.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational development skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and drive change across a global organization.
  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, technology, or diversified operating environments is preferred, along with experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, enterprise transformations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range of $160,000–$190,000 USD, with final compensation determined by factors including qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, travel requirements, and organizational needs.
