DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING COORDINATOR in Abilene, Kansas at Salina Regional Health Center

The Development and Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the marketing and communications team, responsible for overseeing marketing, public relations, and development initiatives for Memorial Health System while working closely with the Salina Regional Health Center Director of Marketing and team to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance MHS’ visibility, managing social media platforms, creating content, and leading public relations efforts to drive engagement and business growth. As the hospital’s lead public relations officer in Abilene, the Coordinator will ensure that community needs and trends inform marketing strategies while also supporting internal communication initiatives. A key aspect of the role includes organizing and coordinating promotional, educational, and public events in collaboration with hospital staff and community leaders, ensuring successful execution and expanding outreach efforts. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for identifying potential risks and escalating concerns to administrators and directors as needed. A successful candidate will be a proactive communicator and strategic thinker with experience in marketing, public relations, and community engagement, possessing strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to build relationships across diverse groups. Associates degree in communications, marketing or related fields to support the essential functions required of this position

Bachelors degree preferred
