Here's What You Need
• Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy upon hire Required Or
Master's degree Physical Therapy upon hire Required Or
Other Doctorate Physical Therapy upon hire Required.
• PT - Physical Therapist Texas - Physical Therapy License Upon Hire
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Problem-solving ability, ability to teach others, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physicians, and community stakeholders.
• Two (2) years prior experience Or Residency-trained
• Experience working in collegiate or high school athletic training room.
PPreferred Qualifications:
• Experience with return-to-sport testing, movement analysis, and performance-based rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience utilizing objective outcome measures, force plate technology, dynamometry, movement analysis, and other sports performance assessment tools.
What You Will Do
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports medicine injuries across a variety of patient populations, including Division I collegiate athletes, recreational athletes, and active individuals.
• Performs treatment procedures/techniques that are within the scope of the professional license.
• Educate patients and families through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
• Initiates therapy discharge planning in collaboration with care team and patient based on prognosis and expected discharge disposition.
• Attends and/or leads hospital, department, and community meetings/educational in-services.
• Provide physical therapy services within a split-clinic model, supporting operations at multiple sports medicine locations.
• Support mentorship and clinical education of physical therapy students, residents, and developing clinicians where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with athletic trainers, team physicians, orthopedic surgeons, strength and conditioning coaches, and other sports medicine professionals in a multidisciplinary care model.

- Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-6:00PM and Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM, no weekends, schedule varies.
- This position functions in a split-clinic model and includes care of Division I collegiate student-athletes as well as community sports medicine patients.
