Description:
Job Purpose:
- The primary purpose of the Courier position at Skin MD, LLC an affiliated practice of SKIN & AESTHETIC CENTERS is to ensure the daily pick-up and delivery of lab specimens. This role is vital in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of specimen transportation between various locations, contributing to the overall success of laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport lab specimens from one location to another, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Maintain reliable transportation and ensure vehicle insurance and valid driver's license are up to date.
- Complete specific compliance-based training to adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Operate as a 1099 independent contractor, managing personal schedule to meet delivery deadlines. (Flat rate of $160)
- Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate pick-up and delivery times.
- Handle specimens with care to prevent damage or contamination during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all documentation is completed as required.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations related to the transportation of lab specimens.
