Job Description

Manager, Performance Analytics

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Performance Analytics based in the United States.

The Manager, Performance Analytics will play a critical role in building and scaling the analytical foundation behind a growing healthcare performance program. This position owns the data pipelines, measurement frameworks, and reporting processes that help identify care opportunities, track outcomes, and support client success. The role combines healthcare analytics expertise with operational ownership, requiring strong attention to detail and a passion for turning complex datasets into actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes, automate reporting, and establish reliable measurement standards. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a hands-on analytics leader who thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. Your work will directly influence how healthcare organizations measure impact and improve patient outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and continuously improve the analytics pipeline, including the intake, processing, and analysis of healthcare claims records, eligibility files, reconciliation data, and related datasets.
  • Lead care-gap identification and measurement processes to determine which validated findings represent actionable opportunities for intervention.
  • Manage closure reconciliation processes, including monthly cohort measurement cycles and reporting frameworks used to evaluate program performance.
  • Ensure accurate billing reconciliation by validating program activity, analyzed studies, and client-level reporting against invoiced volumes.
  • Build and enhance performance dashboards and funnel analytics to track progression from identified opportunities through physician engagement and completed outcomes.
  • Deliver practice-level performance analysis to identify trends, risks, improvement opportunities, and areas requiring additional support.
  • Establish scalable measurement processes, documentation, and automation initiatives in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Serve as a trusted source of analytical insights for internal leadership, clients, and operational decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Extensive hands-on experience working with healthcare claims data, including professional and institutional claim structures, diagnosis and procedure codes, member/provider identifiers, and eligibility file integrations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting, Medicare Advantage data processes, and risk adjustment concepts; experience with MAO-004 files, CDI reporting, encounter data, or similar healthcare reporting frameworks is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently conduct complex analysis using SQL, Excel, pivot tables, and other analytical tools to transform large datasets into clear business insights.
  • Strong analytical rigor and commitment to data accuracy, with experience supporting reporting environments where precision impacts financial, operational, or client outcomes.
  • A structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving, with the ability to investigate issues, validate findings, and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Understanding of value-based care models, care-gap economics, and how healthcare interventions create measurable clinical and financial impact.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a scaling organization with high ownership, visibility, and autonomy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfortable adopting AI-powered tools and modern technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $130,000 to $160,000, plus a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Choice of multiple medical plans, including an option with full premium coverage for employees and dependents.
  • Dental and vision coverage.
  • Flexible time-off policies depending on employee classification.
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state requirements.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • 12 company-paid holidays and additional company wellness days.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Annual professional development stipend for courses, books, and career growth activities.
  • Annual wellness stipend supporting fitness, mental health, and other wellbeing expenses.
  • Flexible remote work environment.
