Senior Director of Product: Fax

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director of Product: Fax based in the United States.

This executive product leadership role is responsible for shaping the future strategy, growth, and evolution of a critical digital communication portfolio within the healthcare technology space.
You will lead product vision, roadmap execution, and operational excellence while guiding teams through the transformation of established solutions into next-generation platforms.
The role combines strategic planning, program leadership, customer insight, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and client teams to align product investments with market needs and organizational goals.
As a senior product leader, you will mentor product professionals, establish strong operating rhythms, and drive innovation across the product lifecycle.

Accountabilities:

As the Senior Director of Product, you will own the strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of a comprehensive fax solutions portfolio. You will provide executive-level product leadership, ensure alignment between business priorities and technical delivery, and build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Define and execute a multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the fax solutions portfolio.
  • Lead the transition from legacy platforms to modern technology solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational stability.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, supporting professional growth, accountability, and high-performance execution.
  • Serve as the strategic program leader for major product initiatives, ensuring delivery milestones, dependencies, and risks are effectively managed.
  • Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, customer teams, and executive stakeholders to align product direction with business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor product KPIs, using data-driven insights to identify opportunities and address performance gaps.
  • Lead monthly business reviews and maintain visibility into product progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management from innovation and platform expansion through optimization and retirement strategies.
  • Develop migration strategies for existing solutions while ensuring technical continuity and customer retention.
  • Drive operational governance, resource planning, and financial accountability across product initiatives.
  • Use market intelligence and customer insights to strengthen positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Promote effective product practices, tools, and workflows across teams.
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and achievements clearly across the organization.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic product executive with deep experience leading software products, managing complex portfolios, and driving cross-functional execution. You should have strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create clarity in complex, evolving environments.

  • 7+ years of experience in product management within software development environments.
  • 2+ years of experience in senior or lead product management roles.
  • Experience with fax, CPaaS, telephony, telecommunications, healthcare technology, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, establish roadmaps, and manage products through their full lifecycle.
  • Experience leading and developing product teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, interoperability, or regulated technology environments is preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into clear product priorities.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and using insights to guide decision-making.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and create structured approaches to complex problems.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills with focus on high-impact initiatives.
  • Experience using product and collaboration tools such as Jira, Slack, Figma, Miro, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and effective prompt creation using platforms such as Gemini or ChatGPT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science, or a related technical field is a plus.
  • Product management certifications or similar professional credentials are preferred.
