What You’ll Be Doing
As our next Material Handler (2nd Shift), you will esnure receiving, maintaining, and organizing production inventory in the Packing area.
- Responsible for moving and storing inventory in the interim warehouse.
- Maintain and organize inventory and performs physical inventory counts.
- Responsible for pulling and staging product based on order demand.
- Crosstrain in the Packing Department and unload product from the conveyor line and transfer product to the logistics center.
- Work according to safety regulations at all times and reports unsafe conditions immediately.
- Contribute to keeping the packing and interim warehouse areas clean and organized.
- Complete administrative duties such as data entry, resolving minor issues, and making cardboard or plastic bales.
- Hours are Mon-Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pmm and occasional Saturdays.
Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training.
- Forklift License and valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
