Pharmacist - Travel in Bronx, New York at Protouch Staffing

• Location: New York, NY

• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

• Shift Length: 7.5-hour shifts

• Shifts: Rotating shifts, including:

  • 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

  • 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM

• Gross Weekly Pay: Up to $3,655

• Taxable Pay: $1,044/week

• Non-Taxable Stipends: $2,611/week (for eligible travelers)

• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacist experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy

• Active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED) with Primary Source Verification

• Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems

• Sterile compounding/sterile processing experience

• IV room experience

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• Accurately review, prepare, and dispense medications

• Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

• Prepare and verify sterile IV medications as needed

• Maintain accurate medication records using the facility's pharmacy and EMR systems

• Provide medication counseling and clinical support when appropriate

• Ensure patient safety through adherence to established pharmacy best practices
