About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department and ensuring the smooth operation of all technical systems within the organization. Your main goal will be to maintain and improve the efficiency and safety of our facilities, while also reducing costs and minimizing downtime. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that all engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Experience with project management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the engineering department and manage a team of engineers and technicians
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure the smooth operation of all technical systems
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all engineering projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
