Job Overview:
ALLIANCE Credit Union is a leading credit union in the communities we serve. Our not-for-profit business model is second to none. We are now hiring a part-time Operations Support person to join our fun and growing team. If you are hard-working, dedicated, organized, detail oriented, and love to work with others in a collaborative environment, this position is for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with VP of Community Relations and Financial Education relating to events and financial education needs.
- Work on the Event Cook Team with the Community Relations and Financial Education department.
- Community Events- this position is an integral part of preparing/attending community events. This includes but is not limited to set up/tear down, loading/unloading the trailer, coordinating with internal departments/partners, arrange needed volunteers, obtain needed supplies.
- Community Rooms- Set up/tear down community rooms for group usage. This includes but is not limited to sending emails to appropriate departments, ordering needed items to ensure room is stocked at all times, greeting guests, providing a warm welcome, assisting guests with setting up tables, chairs, tents, etc. as well as restoring the rooms after an event.
- Financial Education- this position is an integral part of empowering our youth with strong financial education skills. This includes but is not limited to assisting with Cash Club, in-class activities, and Reality Fairs. You will work closely with students in multiple school districts and must be able to pass background checks and any other requirements of each district.
- Performs daily general maintenance duties: including moving furniture, boxes, etc., setting up for special events, building checks for security.
- Will be required to operate/work out of an ALLIANCE supplied vehicle and trailer.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
