Senior Interior Designer in Glen Allen, Virginia at Kalyan Hospitality

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead the interior design process for hospitality renovation and development projects from concept through installation. This role will work closely with our external architects, project managers, procurement team, and vendors to deliver designs that meet project goals and hotel brand standards.

• 3–7 years of professional interior design experience, with direct hospitality or hotel design experience required

• Direct experience preparing brand specification packages and submittals for Marriott and/or Hilton properties required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit

• Ability to produce tagged plans, finish schedules, and construction documents

• Experience developing FF&E specifications, finish schedules, and specification books

• Experience managing the hotel brand approval process from start to finish

• Ability to travel to project sites for installation oversight

• Lead interior design for hotel renovation and development projects from concept through installation

• Prepare construction documents, tagged plans, finish schedules, and FF&E documentation

• Coordinate with architects, project managers, procurement teams, and vendors to ensure projects stay aligned with design specifications and timelines

• Manage Marriott and Hilton brand submissions, reviews, and approvals

• Conduct site visits and oversee installations to ensure the finished product reflects the approved design intent and brand standards
