A thriving content creator and influencer brand with nearly seven years of established presence across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Amazon is looking for a proactive Video Editor & Social Media Specialist to take full ownership of their long-form and short-form video content pipeline.

Our client is an established, full-time content creator and influencer actively scaling her brand into a multi-platform business. As she steps into a high-level CEO role focusing on overarching strategy and production, she needs an end-to-end creative partner to run the post-production and distribution engine.

In this role, you will lead the post-production workflow for main YouTube videos and repurpose hero footage into engaging Instagram Reels. You will craft high-CTR thumbnails, implement heavy, accurate on-screen text and motion graphics, and manage scheduling and uploads across platforms with meticulous attention to detail and clear, proactive communication.

1. End-to-End Video Editing

   • Edit engaging long-form YouTube videos tailored to the brand’s pacing and audience retention style.

   • Repurpose long-form content into dynamic, vertical short-form videos (Instagram Reels).

2. On-Screen Text & Visual Graphics

   • Integrate heavy, precise, and visually appealing English captions and typography to drive viewer retention.

   • Ensure flawless grammar, spelling, and pacing across all on-screen graphics.

3. Thumbnail Design & Visual Branding

   • Design custom, high-converting YouTube thumbnails engineered for high Click-Through Rates (CTR) while preserving brand aesthetic.

4. Platform Publishing & Optimization

   • Handle end-to-end uploads and scheduling directly in YouTube Studio and Instagram.

   • Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata for discoverability and engagement.

5. Proactive Daily Communication

   • Maintain transparent, fluid, and timely communication throughout scheduled working hours.

• Flawless English Fluency: Exceptional written and spoken English is strictly required—especially for crafting accurate text overlays, captioning, and seamless real-time collaboration.

• Proven Video Editing Background: Hands-on proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).

• Graphic Design Proficiency: Demonstrated portfolio of high-performing YouTube thumbnail design (Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent).

• Platform Expertise: Working knowledge of YouTube Studio, Instagram Creator tools, and the latest platform algorithm/retention best practices.

• Technical Setup: High-performance editing workstation paired with a verified, stable high-speed internet connection capable of handling large video file transfers without delay.

• Video Editing: Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

• Graphic Design: Photoshop, Canva

• Social & Distribution Platforms: YouTube Studio, Instagram
