This role sits at the core of production reliability and operational excellence within a high-performance distributed infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing complex software releases across multiple interconnected systems powering high-throughput, low-latency blockchain infrastructure. The position requires strong discipline in deployment operations, ensuring safe and reliable upgrades across testnet and mainnet environments. You will work closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to manage release readiness, rollback strategies, and system health during live deployments. This is a highly hands-on role where precision, timing, and system awareness are critical to success. You will also contribute to improving automation, observability, and CI/CD workflows over time. Your work will directly impact system uptime, performance, and the reliability of mission-critical decentralized infrastructure.
In this role, you will be responsible for owning and executing the full release lifecycle across distributed infrastructure systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and well-documented deployments in production environments.
- Own and execute software releases across testnet, mainnet, and staged environments, including canary deployments and patch rollouts
- Manage end-to-end release workflows from pre-deployment validation through post-release monitoring and follow-up
- Maintain and improve release documentation, including playbooks, runbooks, deployment checklists, and rollback procedures
- Coordinate versioning, configuration consistency, and deployment alignment across multiple services and repositories
- Monitor system health during deployments using observability tools, dashboards, logs, and alerting systems
- Ensure robust rollback readiness and rapid incident response during deployment-related issues
- Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes for reliability, safety, and scalability
The ideal candidate has strong production infrastructure experience and thrives in high-responsibility environments where deployment accuracy and system reliability are critical.
- 4+ years of experience in release engineering, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure engineering, or similar roles
- Strong Linux systems expertise and experience managing production deployment workflows
- Hands-on experience with canary deployments, rollback strategies, and incident response processes
- Strong understanding of Git-based workflows, including branching, tagging, versioning, and changelogs
- Experience operating or supporting high-availability distributed systems in production environments
- Ability to work across multiple services, repositories, and deployment targets simultaneously
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear operational documentation
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar is a plus
- Familiarity with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or systemd is a plus
- Experience in blockchain, low-latency, or trading infrastructure environments is a strong advantage
- Rust experience or exposure to bare-metal, datacenter, or validator operations is a plus
This position offers competitive compensation along with strong benefits and the opportunity to work on high-impact, mission-critical infrastructure systems.
