We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance and engineering operations for both the hotel and the attached Unos Restaurant. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities while supporting our commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all maintenance and engineering operations for Hilton Garden Inn Worcester and Unos Restaurant, ensuring facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations.

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.

- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.

- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades to ensure minimal disruption to hotel and restaurant operations.

- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and environmental policies.

- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and guest requests, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

- Collaborate with management to plan for future facility needs and improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in engineering, maintenance, or facilities management, preferably in the hospitality industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

- Relevant certifications or licenses in facilities management or engineering are preferred.
