Position Title: Quality Systems Specialist
Echodyne offers the worlds first compact solid-state true beam-steering radar for a wide range of industries and applications. Our high-performance radars work in all weather and are designed for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft & drones, and security of borders, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. The company combines the patented technology of metamaterials with powerful software to create a radar sensor with unprecedented performance at commercial price points. Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).
Echodyne is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist with experience in Quality System performance to join its team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment developing next generation RADAR systems. The Quality Systems Specialist is responsible for the development of data analyses to report metrics to stakeholders as well as the execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure effective and efficient quality processes in MRB and efficient closure of Nonconformance Records (NCRs). This position reports to the Director of QA and Regulatory Compliance.
This role is on-site in Kirkland, WA and Woodinville, WA.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality-related data (e.g., nonconformances, corrective actions, audit results, scrap/rework, supplier quality)
- Proficient with developing metrics using data analysis tools
- Provide data support for management reviews and customer reporting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports to monitor QMS performance
- Identify trends, patterns, and root causes to support data-driven decision-making
- Evaluate, assign investigate and push resolution of nonconformances and maintain appropriate QMS records as needed
- Ensure data integrity and traceability in compliance with AS9100 requirements
- Act as the primary coordinator of Nonconformance Records (NCRs): monitor, document, and drive timely closure
- Ensures proper material identification, segregation, and storage of inventory material
- Works closely with members of Manufacturing, Distribution, Engineering, and Quality to ensure good communication and coordination of activities
- Maintain acceptable levels of nonconforming material in Material Review Board (MRB) and drive the disposition of this material
- Track effectiveness of improvement initiatives and report outcomes
- Maintain documentation and records aligned with QMS procedures
- Partner with Quality Engineers and stakeholders to support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Active participant in continuous Improvement and Lean projects
- Maintains current education in the field with internal and external education and training
- Assists with Quality System Audits
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in a Data Analyst role or equivalent education
- Ability to develop reports using PowerBI, Excel, MiniTab, etc
- A minimum of 2 years of recent prior experience in a high-tech environment
- Proficient knowledge of MSD Office; Word and Excel
- Experience working within a Quality Management System environment
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups
- Experience with ERP, MES and PLM systems
- Ability to work with minor guidance and under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver innovative, effective and timely solutions
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to collect, analyze and report data
- Self-Driven and able to work with limited supervision

- Development of Supplier Scorecarding
- Proactive, professional, self-starter and able to work well in teams of various cultures and backgrounds
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Lean Manufacturing: Kaizen and efficient problem solving experience
