Your Opportunity

Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Maintenance Manager to lead our PTS Pt145 Maintenance Organisation at Pearce, Western Australia. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction within the framework of contract CASG/ASD/030/2015/S. Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Responsible Manager (DASR Pt145) for the PTS PEA maintenance organisation, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with DASR Pt145 regulations, company policies, and customer expectations.
  • Oversee PTS PEA fleet management, risk management, and Work Health & Safety (WHS) practices.
  • Achieve key performance indicators and meet all contractual tasking requirements under the PTS contract.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for PTS PEA, liaising with Pilatus engineering, CAM Services, and operational staff.
  • Collaborate with the Program Services Manager and other Senior Maintenance Managers to maintain safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Promote and participate in the Safety Management System, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees to ensure maintenance is performed to the highest standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting positive staff engagement and teamwork.
  • Manage delegated budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial responsibility.


What Will Help You Succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:
  • Chartership (CPEng, CEngT, CEngA) with the Institute of Engineers Australia or equivalent, or the ability to attain it.
  • Qualifications and experience that meet DASA requirements for the Responsible Manager position.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply military airworthiness regulations, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management and leading large teams, preferably within a high-pressure environment.
  • Previous maintenance management experience, with effective communication and time management skills.
  • A sound understanding of DASA airworthiness regulations (or equivalent) and significant technical experience within the Australian Defence or General Aviation industry.
  • Experience in operational maintenance environments, and a strong alignment with Jet Aviation's values: Trust, Honesty, Alignment, and Transparency.
