Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and scaling a high-performing BDR team while driving outbound pipeline creation and cross-functional alignment to support revenue growth.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7–9 BDRs through regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance coaching
  • Own ramp plans, onboarding, and ongoing performance management for new and existing team members
  • Drive execution of AE + BDR pod strategy, including account planning, outbound campaigns, and weekly sprints
  • Monitor pipeline performance metrics such as SQL generation, conversion rates, and ramp progression
  • Partner with senior sales leadership on strategy, hiring plans, quota setting, and team scaling initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement to improve outbound effectiveness
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts for new BDR hires
  • Continuously refine outbound processes, messaging, and tooling to improve team productivity
Requirements

The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with prior BDR/SDR experience and a proven track record of coaching teams to success in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Prior experience as a BDR/SDR with strong foundational outbound sales experience
  • Previous leadership experience managing or coaching a BDR/SDR team (player-coach or manager role)
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline results and coach reps toward consistent quota attainment
  • Strong understanding of key sales metrics (SQLs, conversion rates, ramp performance, pipeline velocity)
  • Experience working in fast-moving startup environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities with a high accountability mindset
  • Fintech or financial infrastructure experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, Orum, or similar sales tech stacks is preferred
  • Experience hiring, onboarding, and scaling SDR/BDR teams is a plus

This position offers a competitive compensation package along with equity and the opportunity to play a key leadership role in a rapidly scaling organization.

  • On-target earnings (OTE): $90,000 – $125,000
  • Equity package as part of total compensation
  • Remote-first role within the United States
  • Opportunity for occasional travel for team off-sites and collaboration
  • High-impact leadership role with direct visibility to senior leadership
  • Opportunity to shape team structure, hiring standards, and outbound strategy
  • Fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership culture
  • Career growth potential within a scaling sales organization
