  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Requirements:

This role requires strong editorial discipline, technical adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume digital content environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Systems, Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience authoring and publishing content in a CMS environment, including testing and validation of digital content.
  • Strong command of English grammar, editing, proofreading, and familiarity with AP style guidelines.
  • Ability to balance speed and accuracy in a deadline-driven workflow.
  • Experience working with workflow tools such as Jira, Trello, Wrike, or Confluence.
  • Basic understanding of HTML is preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation or content tools (e.g., HubSpot or Pardot) is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams including editors, strategists, and subject matter experts.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies quickly.
Benefits:
  • Hourly compensation of $30–$32, based on experience and qualifications
  • Part-time schedule (28–30 hours per week)
  • Fully remote 1099 contract arrangement
  • Flexible work environment with weekday daytime availability
  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong peer support
  • Opportunity to contribute to mission-driven work supporting public safety professionals
  • Exposure to evolving digital tools, systems, and content technologies
  • Meaningful, varied work with opportunities for continuous improvement and impact
