Key Responsibilities:

- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' musculoskeletal systems

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety

- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images, following physician orders and safety protocols

- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards

- Review images for quality and completeness, and assist radiologists in image interpretation

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control procedures

- Document patient information and imaging details accurately in medical records

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and imaging schedules

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)

- Proven experience operating MRI equipment, preferably in an orthopedic or outpatient setting

- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and imaging techniques

- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment

- Knowledge of safety standards and infection control procedures

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively
