Job Description

Senior Strategic Execution Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Strategic Execution Director based in the United States.

This senior revenue execution role is responsible for converting committed customer orders into executable projects and recognized revenue.
You’ll manage a high-value portfolio of delayed, unscheduled, or at-risk orders across strategic U.S. and Canadian accounts.
The role combines executive customer engagement, revenue forecasting, project recovery, and cross-functional leadership.
You’ll work directly with senior healthcare, financial, operational, facilities, and technology stakeholders to remove barriers to execution.
Internally, you’ll coordinate Sales, Service, Finance, Commercial Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain, and other teams without relying on direct authority.
Success is measured through predictable revenue delivery, accurate forecasting, backlog conversion, and rapid resolution of execution risks.
With up to 30% travel, this is an influential role for an experienced leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Own a high-value portfolio of unscheduled, delayed, or at-risk orders and strategic initiatives, with accountability for backlog conversion, revenue timing, risk mitigation, and executive visibility.

  • Analyze customer, backlog, pipeline, financial, and operational data to prioritize interventions and develop account-specific recovery and growth plans.

  • Create and execute project-level revenue recovery strategies that move viable orders into implementation, protect committed revenue, and accelerate revenue recognition.

  • Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior clinical, financial, operational, facilities, and technology leaders.

  • Lead executive discovery, governance, escalation, and planning discussions to understand customer priorities, capital plans, funding constraints, decision processes, and project requirements.

  • Translate customer priorities and constraints into actionable project roadmaps with clear dates, dependencies, owners, milestones, and required decisions.

  • Serve as a senior escalation point when customer-side issues threaten project readiness, installation timing, or revenue recognition.

  • Lead cross-functional teams across the organization to align resources, sequencing, customer actions, and execution plans with quarterly and annual revenue commitments.

  • Drive resolution of internal dependencies involving project readiness, equipment availability, installation capacity, service coordination, and revenue recognition.

  • Establish project-level revenue plans with clear ownership, milestones, risk indicators, and recovery actions.

  • Lead weekly and monthly revenue operating rhythms, challenge forecast assumptions, quantify upside and downside, and escalate gaps early enough for corrective action.

  • Coach account and execution teams on revenue discipline, customer commitment management, issue resolution, and project-level forecasting.

  • Identify barriers such as funding gaps, construction or site-readiness issues, insufficient contractor resources, planning constraints, and customer misalignment.

  • Develop practical solutions, including budgetary or rough-order-of-magnitude guidance, connections to contractors or planning resources, phased deployments, and alternative execution strategies.

  • Partner with installation project managers and operating teams to ensure projects meet readiness criteria and enter execution on schedule.

  • Maintain accurate project-level revenue forecasts covering commitments, timing, dependencies, risks, mitigation actions, and accountable owners.

  • Lead recurring revenue reviews with senior stakeholders and communicate forecast changes, risks, and gaps against plan.

  • Act as a capacity multiplier by resolving complex upstream barriers so delivery teams can complete installations and revenue milestones on time.

  • Track performance through committed revenue delivery, forecast accuracy, backlog conversion, aged backlog reduction, risk exposure, milestone completion, and recovery effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, revenue execution, capital equipment delivery, healthcare technology, complex project or program leadership, or strategic account execution.

  • Demonstrated success engaging C-suite and senior customer leaders to secure decisions, resources, and commitments required for project execution and revenue recognition.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional matrix teams and delivering results without direct authority.

  • Track record of recovering revenue at risk, improving forecast accuracy, managing complex backlogs, and delivering measurable financial results.

  • Significant experience with large capital programs, healthcare delivery environments, strategic accounts, and multi-year customer initiatives is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition, backlog management, forecasting, project readiness, installation milestones, financial performance, and risk management.

  • Executive presence and excellent communication skills, with credibility among senior executives and clinical leaders.

  • Strong enterprise account strategy, stakeholder mapping, governance, and relationship-management capabilities.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, build consensus, and mobilize matrix teams around common objectives.

  • Advanced problem-solving, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and executive-escalation skills.

  • Strong portfolio prioritization, data-driven decision-making, operating discipline, and follow-through.

  • Working knowledge of healthcare economics, integrated delivery networks, capital equipment deployment, and enterprise technology solutions.

  • Ability to move comfortably between executive-level strategy, project-level details, and operating-plan execution.

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple strategic accounts, stakeholders, workstreams, and financial commitments simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required for strategic customers, executive meetings, and critical project milestones.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range of $132,000–$198,000, with actual compensation determined by factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

  • Eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation, potentially including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Paid time off.

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employee and company contribution opportunities.

  • Life, disability, and accident insurance.

  • Tuition reimbursement.

  • Relocation assistance is available.

  • Professional development opportunities and exposure to strategic enterprise healthcare initiatives.

  • Opportunity to work with senior executives and lead high-impact cross-functional revenue initiatives.

  • Remote work arrangement with travel requirements of up to 30%.
