Construction Foreman in Oceanside, California at Musick Construction Inc

• Manage the day-to-day operations of residential construction job sites.
• Lead and work alongside crew members while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Coordinate deliveries and jobsite activities.
• Read and understand plans, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Create and maintain project schedules and communicate upcoming needs.
• Organize materials, tools, and equipment to keep the job moving efficiently.
• Assign tasks and provide direction to crew members and subcontractors.
• Identify and solve construction issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Enforce proper safety practices and use of PPE.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and the Project Manager.
• Monitor workmanship and make sure work is completed to company standards.
• Perform hands-on construction work

• 5+ years of residential construction experience
• Previous Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of residential construction from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience across multiple trades, including framing, doors, windows, foundation, finish work, and general carpentry.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints.
• Experience managing subcontractors and construction crews.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a jobsite.
• Reliable transportation and personal basic hand/power tools.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• $35–$40/hour based on experience and qualifications
