Overview

Oversee and manage all aspects of the department’s credited internship program. Develop and deliver innovative, dynamic career services and special events, seminars, and workshops to meet the ongoing" professional needs of Media, Culture, and Communication students based in both London and New York.

Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Student Affairs or Media/Communications

Required Experience:
3+ years experience in career advising or counseling students at the college or university level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
Partnership management, event planning, student placement and experiential learning

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars. Ability to liaise with external partners. Knowledge of standard office software. Familiarity with basic digital design software.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Digital content creation; social media strategy

Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $77,700.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
