Playroom Attendant in Reston, Virginia at Giving Tree Pet Resort LLC

As the Playroom Attendant of Giving Tree Pets, you will be responsible for providing attentive supervision and care to daycare dogs while creating a safe, structured, and enriching play environment. You will actively monitor group play, engage with the dogs, and ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include supervising play groups, monitoring dogs for changes in behavior or signs of stress, maintaining appropriate play dynamics, providing enrichment and interaction, and ensuring dogs are safely transitioned between activities and areas. You will also assist with feeding, water, bathroom breaks, cleaning, and other daily care tasks as needed.

You will be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary playroom by promptly cleaning accidents, removing waste, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping play areas free of hazards. You will also communicate any health, behavioral, or safety concerns to management and follow all established procedures for handling and supervising dogs.

The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive, dependable, and comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. They should be able to recognize changes in dog behavior, remain calm in a busy environment, and understand the importance of proactive supervision rather than simply observing from the sidelines.

Most importantly, the Playroom Attendant should be passionate about providing exceptional care and creating a safe, positive, and enriching experience for every dog entrusted to Giving Tree Pets.
