Dynamic Integrated Security is building a team of licensed security professionals to assist with upcoming events in the Tallahassee area. This temporary opportunity is ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in public event environments.

Compensation: $18.50 per hour
Typical Assignment: Approximately 8 hours
Work Location: Tallahassee, FL – Leon School District

Position Overview

Event Security Officers will help support overall safety and access control while providing a professional presence during scheduled events. Assignments may vary depending on event requirements.

Key duties may include:

- Monitor assigned areas, entrances, and exits.
- Check identification, credentials, or access authorization when required.
- Help prevent unauthorized access to restricted locations.
- Stay alert to unusual activity, potential hazards, or security concerns.
- Communicate incidents and observations to supervisors according to established procedures.
- Provide directions and general assistance to guests and event personnel.
- Support crowd movement and help maintain a safe environment.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

What You Need

Required qualifications:

- Valid Florida Class D Security License.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Dependable transportation.
- Ability to remain on your feet and walk for extended periods.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Successful completion of required background screening and drug testing.

Additional experience is welcome, but not mandatory:

- Security or protective services experience.
- Prior event or venue security work.
- Experience interacting with large groups or crowds.

Assignment Details

This position is designed around scheduled events rather than a fixed weekly schedule.

Assignments are generally around 8 hours and are expected to be available throughout September through November. Additional opportunities may be offered as event staffing needs arise.
