Lead Technician (Handyman) – South Lee County in Fort Myers, Florida at TruBlue Home Service Ally

We're looking for a Lead Technician who can walk into a home, solve problems, earn trust, and leave people feeling taken care of.

Most of our customers are senior citizens. They aren't looking for the cheapest handyman. They're looking for someone they can trust in their home. If you're patient, respectful, reliable, and take pride in your work, you'll fit right in.

This job isn't for everyone.

Sometimes you'll work work outside in the Florida heat, humidity, and the occasional summer downpour. Some customers will be talkative. Some will be particular. Some will test your patience. If you get frustrated easily, show up late, or need someone constantly checking your work, this is probably not the role for you.

We're looking for someone with strong handyman and home repair skills across a wide range of trades. You should have your own tools, know how to solve problems without creating new ones, and be coachable enough to improve.

We're a growing home repair company focused on helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. While we have over 160 locations around the country, we're new to Southwest Florida, which means the right person will help shape how this business grows in our area.

The right person won't just be another technician. As we grow, this role will grow into leadership, including helping hire, train, and manage additional technicians.

Pay starts at $25-$35 per hour depending on experience. Full-time W2 position. Mileage reimbursement or gas stipend provided. Bonuses paid for every 5-star review received.

Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, ability to lift 50+ lbs, your own standard handyman tools, and ability to pass a background check. After a probationary period, you'll qualify for a company vehicle.
