Logistics Coordinator – Dallas

Intermodal container pick-up & delivery | Dallas-based transportation company

We are a growing intermodal transportation company focused on exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. We are seeking a highly organized logistics coordinator / dispatcher to support daily operations, customer communication, and driver coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Successful candidates will serve as a key link between customers, drivers, terminals, and internal operations teams to ensure freight moves safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Strong performers will have opportunities for increased responsibility, hybrid work flexibility, and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily load planning, scheduling, dispatching, and equipment tracking
  • Resolve service failures and delivery exceptions
  • Coordinate appointments with customers, terminals, and warehouses
  • Track load status and provide customer updates
  • Ensure timely completion of PODs and billing documentation
  • Support drivers, process pay, and assist with performance and compliance
  • Enter orders, communicate with customers, and track load costs
  • Audit vendor invoices and support vendor coordination
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ year transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience
  • Experience with trucking and freight operations preferred
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadline pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with drivers and customers in a service environment
  • Intermediate Excel skills preferred​​​​​​​
