Job Description
Total Tire Solutions is seeking a Service Advisor to help establish and grow our newest location in Lake Charles, LA. This is a customer-facing operational role responsible for coordinating commercial tire service, supporting field technicians, building customer relationships, and ensuring an exceptional service experience from start to finish.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with customers, and can balance service operations, sales opportunities, and administrative responsibilities while helping grow a new market.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet customers and walk-in clients
- Schedule and coordinate commercial tire service appointments and roadside service requests
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication
- Identify opportunities to expand services and increase customer retention
- Prepare estimates, service recommendations, and invoices
- Assist in developing and growing a book of business within the Lake Charles market
Operations & Service Coordination
- Dispatch and coordinate mobile tire technicians for roadside, yard, and on-site service calls
- Monitor service schedules to maximize technician productivity and customer responsiveness
- Ensure work orders are opened, updated, and closed accurately
- Maintain service records, inventory documentation, and customer files
- Support daily shop and field operations to ensure efficient workflow
Team Support
- Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure quality service delivery
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members as the location grows
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer-first service
- Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
Performance & Accountability
- Track key performance indicators related to sales, service response times, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Support leadership initiatives focused on growth, profitability, and operational excellence
- Assist with inventory management and tire ordering processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial tire service, fleet maintenance, transportation, automotive service, or a related industry
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Dispatcher, Account Manager, or Operations Coordinator preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing service schedules, work orders, and customer communications
- Knowledge of commercial tires, fleet operations, or heavy-duty transportation preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems, service management software, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team
- Valid driver's license required
