The role requires a strong ability to translate human-centered design principles into scalable design systems that guide development teams in building high-quality applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between user needs and technical execution. Working in a fast-paced, agile environment, you will contribute to modern, accessible, and responsive digital products used at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end UX and UI design activities, including user research, personas, journey mapping, prototyping, wireframing, and usability testing.
  • Define and deliver UX research plans, synthesizing findings into actionable insights, hypotheses, and design recommendations for product teams.
  • Conduct discovery and evaluation activities including user interviews, stakeholder workshops, content analysis, and accessibility reviews.
  • Design and refine user interfaces, ensuring usability, accessibility (including Section 508 compliance), and consistency across applications.
  • Create and maintain UX frameworks, design standards, and reusable templates to support development teams and ensure design scalability.
  • Translate research insights into epics, user stories, workflows, and detailed functional and technical design specifications.
  • Develop interactive prototypes, dynamic forms, and complex UI components such as cards, dashboards, and drag-and-drop interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of UX/UI solutions.
  • Conduct usability testing sessions and incorporate user feedback into iterative design improvements.
  • Communicate design concepts and decisions clearly through documentation, presentations, and storytelling formats to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of UX/UI or software design experience (10+ years preferred depending on education path).
  • Strong expertise in human-centered design, design thinking, and UX research methodologies including personas, journey mapping, and usability studies.
  • Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma and usability testing platforms.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with ReactJS.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance.
  • Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) with cross-functional development teams.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, responsive interfaces, including dynamic forms and interactive UI components.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX strategy, UI design, prototyping, and research-driven design decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with a consultative mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of approximately $111,155 – $150,385 depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and parental leave programs.
  • Flexible remote work arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Access to continuous learning, development programs, and agile delivery practices.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-driven digital systems with high impact.
  • Inclusive and collaborative environment focused on innovation and user-centered design.
