Job Description

Sr Technical Program Manager, ML & Robotics Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Technical Program Manager, ML & Robotics Platform based in United States.

This is a highly technical program leadership role focused on enabling the next generation of intelligent robotics and autonomy systems. The position sits at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and large-scale platform engineering. You will drive complex, cross-functional initiatives that power the development of intelligent machines used in real-world environments such as agriculture, construction, and forestry. The role requires strong systems thinking and the ability to translate ambiguous technical challenges into structured execution plans. You will act as the connective layer between engineering teams building ML models, robotics systems, and scalable infrastructure. Success in this role directly accelerates the delivery of high-impact autonomous and precision systems deployed in the field. The environment is fast-paced, experimental, and deeply collaborative, with a strong focus on real-world outcomes.

Accountabilities:

Lead and own the execution of large-scale, cross-functional technical programs spanning machine learning, robotics, and platform infrastructure by translating ambiguous initiatives into clear, structured delivery plans.
• Drive alignment across engineering, data science, and robotics teams, ensuring dependencies, milestones, and critical paths are clearly defined and executed.
• Serve as the primary driver of program strategy and execution, replacing status reporting with actionable, data-driven program tracking and outcomes.
• Identify and remove execution blockers across teams, proactively re-prioritizing and adjusting plans to ensure timely delivery of high-impact initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration frameworks that improve operational efficiency and communication across technical groups.
• Partner with engineering leadership to shape platform roadmaps supporting ML, autonomy, and robotics systems at scale.
• Establish best practices, processes, and tooling adoption to improve program delivery consistency and engineering velocity.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technical program management within complex, distributed engineering environments, ideally involving ML, robotics, or large-scale systems.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs in software, AI, robotics, or platform engineering domains.
• Strong understanding of systems design and architecture, with the ability to contribute to technical discussions at a high level.
• Experience working with machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or autonomy programs is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and align diverse engineering stakeholders around shared goals.
• Strong analytical skills with experience managing large-scale, dependency-heavy programs.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills in fast-moving technical environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear execution plans and milestones.

Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $133,000 to $238,000 per year, based on experience and location
• Annual performance-based bonus eligibility
• Equity and stock options as part of the total compensation package
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
• Employer-paid life insurance and disability benefits
• 401(k) retirement plan with additional benefits
• Flexible work arrangements with remote-first structure across the United States
• Paid time off, parental leave, and holidays
• Learning, development, and training opportunities to support career growth
• Inclusive, mission-driven environment focused on innovation and real-world impact
