This senior leadership role sits at the center of global clinical study delivery, overseeing complex Phase I–IV programs across multiple regions and therapeutic areas. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on project governance, ensuring studies are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. You will act as the primary client liaison while guiding cross-functional teams through all phases of clinical execution. The role also plays a key part in shaping proposals, supporting business development, and influencing study design strategy. Working within a fast-paced clinical research environment, you will oversee multiple projects or large-scale global studies. This is a high-impact position where operational excellence directly contributes to advancing patient outcomes and medical innovation.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex global clinical trials (Phase I–IV), ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements including ICH-GCP, SOPs, and local regulations. Act as primary sponsor liaison and escalation point while ensuring exceptional client service and governance across all study activities.
- Provide oversight and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams, coordinating study operations, managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.
- Drive project planning activities including study management plans, vendor oversight, milestone tracking, and execution of deliverables across global sites and partners.
- Manage financial aspects of assigned studies including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and tracking of out-of-scope activities, ensuring financial performance and accuracy.
- Support business development and RFP processes by contributing strategic insights, preparing bid defense materials, and representing project management in client and internal discussions.
- Lead stakeholder communication across internal departments and external sponsors, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely decision-making across all project phases.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams, contributing to SOP development, process improvements, and organizational best practices.
- Degree in life sciences or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and clinical research experience, with strong expertise in clinical project delivery within a Clinical Research Organization or pharmaceutical setting.
- Extensive experience managing global Phase I–III or Phase I–IV clinical studies, including multi-country and multi-site programs with increasing levels of complexity.
- Strong understanding of clinical systems such as eTMF and CTMS, along with financial management, forecasting, and study governance.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, oversee project risks, and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced, regulated environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently with sponsors, internal leadership, and global stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple large-scale priorities simultaneously.
- Experience contributing to RFPs, bid defenses, and strategic study planning, with prior mentoring or team leadership exposure preferred.
