This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Measurement Technician based in India.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, construction analytics, and precision-based production work. You will be responsible for creating highly accurate roof diagrams using specialized software and aerial imagery, supporting critical workflows in property and insurance-related services. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex visual data with consistency and speed. You will work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment where accuracy directly impacts downstream decision-making and customer outcomes. Beyond production work, the role also contributes to improving tools, processes, and documentation across the team. It is well-suited for someone who is tech-savvy, self-directed, and comfortable working independently with structured targets. Over time, you will also act as a developing subject matter expert, helping onboard and guide new team members.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely technical outputs while continuously improving workflows and supporting team effectiveness.
- Use specialized diagramming software to create precise roof models from aerial imagery, ensuring high accuracy and consistency across outputs.
- Analyze building structures and apply sound judgment to handle complex, non-standard architectural scenarios.
- Manage high-volume workloads, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet strict quality and turnaround timelines.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or edge cases independently while maintaining ownership of output quality.
- Communicate clearly in English (written and verbal) using internal systems and collaboration tools.
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and workflow optimization initiatives.
- Support onboarding and knowledge sharing for new team members as a developing subject matter expert.
This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
- 3+ years of experience in a production, operations, or technical role requiring high accuracy and throughput.
- Strong ability to work with digital tools and quickly learn new web-based systems and platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret visual or spatial data.
- Experience with roof sketching tools or Xactimate is a plus.
- Prior experience working with US-based teams is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
